Blaenau Gwent Council would like to congratulate all A/AS-Level students on their achievements today.
Post-16 Education in Blaenau Gwent is delivered at the Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone, a campus of Coleg Gwent. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic there were Centre Determined Grades (CDGs) awarded by an approach developed through the WJEC in conjunction with Qualifications Wales and educational establishments.
Councillor Joanne Collins, Blaenau Gwent Council’s Executive Member for Education, congratulated students on behalf of the local authority. She said:
“It’s once again been a very tough year for learners due to the disruption caused by the Covid pandemic. Today’s results are testament to the continued hard work and commitment of staff across the education sector in Blaenau Gwent - particularly staff at the Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone; our students and their families and everyone else that has supported them along the way.
