Annual Assessment of Performance

Up to date, accurate performance data is essential for the Council to manage its services and to monitor how well those services are improving. The Council has a statutory duty to publish an Annual Performance report to account for its performance in the previous year.

This report must include updates on the Council’s progress in delivering its agreed improvement objectives for the previous financial year, as set out in the published Well-being Statement, together with the Council’s reported performance against Welsh Government’s Public Accountability Measures (PAM’s).

These indicators also allow each Council in Wales, to compare its performance against that of all of the other Councils in Wales. Details of how we have performed against other Welsh local authorities can be accessed at www.mylocalcouncil.info
