Anti-Social Behaviour

Tackling anti-social behaviour is a priority for the Council and the Fair and Safe Partnership.  Together, we are committed to reducing the impact anti-social behaviour has on our communities.

Anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of unacceptable activity that affects the quality of life of many people.  These persistent behaviours can include littering, dog fouling, and ‘kids hanging around’ to noisy neighbours, alcohol fuelled rowdy behaviour, harassment and vandalism.

Where anti-social behaviour has an adverse effect on places. We will:

  1. Support victims of persistent anti-social behaviour
  2. Target key neighbourhoods and communities affected by anti-social behaviour
  3. Deal swiftly and effectively with perpetrators of anti-social behaviour
