Who are the Blaenau Gwent Youth Forum?

Who we are?

We are a group of young people aged between 11 and 25 years who work as a team on key issues, representing the voices of children and young people from across Blaenau Gwent.

What we do?

We work with Council and its partners to help improve the local area and bring about positive change for young people and local communities.

We are involved in debates, consultations, equality campaigns, mental health issues, climate change, tackling bullying and much more!

Each year the Youth Forum elects a Youth Mayor and Deputy Youth Mayor. Both attend local and national events to work on key issues that matter to young people.

Some of our young people’s case studies are below, as well as recent campaigns we’ve been involved in and awards we’ve won.
