Pay Your Council Tax

The Council needs to collect Council Tax to help us pay for the services that we provide to our community.

We offer a range of payment methods for Council Tax.

Your can pay by:

  • Direct Debit
  • Standing Order
  • Online Payment
  • Automated Payments Service
  • PayPoint card or Post Office
  • QR Code - you can find this on the back of your bill
  • Via Contact Centre (Payment over the phone)

Online Payments

Post Office and PayPoint Store

If you need to request a PayPoint card you can do this by using the change payment details form.

Alternatively, you can use the barcode on the back of your bill.

You will be able to make a payment via cash, debit or credit card at your local post office or PayPoint facility.

You do not need to request a new PayPoint card every year.

Automated Payments Service

You can pay Blaenau Gwent Council any time. The service is open 24 hours a day.
