Pulse Safety Solutions Ltd delivers high‑level technical training to industry, alongside providing specialist technical rescue support to high‑risk industrial environments. Its work helps ensure employees across a wide range of sectors can operate safely in challenging conditions, supported by professional responders trained to manage complex and time-critical rescue situations.
With funding from the Business Development Grant, the company has invested in new Working at Height equipment, Sea Survival equipment, and a dedicated Working at Height training rig. These investments will strengthen its existing training offer while supporting the company’s ambitions to become a certified GWO (Global Wind Organisation) training provider. This represents a key step in enabling the business to support the rapidly expanding wind turbine and renewable energy industry.
Company Director, Stephen Cooper said: “Without the support of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council through this grant we would not have been able to further develop our company to deliver safety‑critical training for those wishing to work in the wind energy industry.”
Councillor John Morgan, Cabinet Member for Economy and Place added: “It is encouraging to see local training providers expanding into specialised and sustainable industries. This investment will not only enhance the company’s capabilities but also support the growth of a skilled workforce for the renewable energy sector.”
The Blaenau Gwent Business Development Grant is funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund and is managed by the Business & Innovation Team at Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. The scheme is currently closed.
