The Council is responsible for organising all elections - for local County Borough Councillors, Community Councillors, Welsh Government Members, Members of Parliament, Members of the European Parliament and the Police Commissioner.

The Council is undertaking a review of electoral arrangements and community boundaries in Blaenau Gwent and the first stage to the review is to ask the public and other interested parties to give their feedback on the current community area boundaries and proposals for any changes.
