EMERGENCY CLOSURE ORDER 2025
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1)(b) and 15(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, intends to close, to all pedestrian traffic, 58m of the path as more particularly described in the schedule below for a maximum period, as specified.
SCHEDULE
Location Part of footpath (Public Rights of Way) known as 331/85 length 52m from NGR 321759E,205969N to NGR 321735E,205922N
Alt. Route South along Brookside Row and then west along temporary track south of William Williams memorial, then to NE corner entrance of football pitch
Reason To protect the Public from danger while collapsed culvert is repaired.
Duration From 4pm on 18th June 2025 for a maximum
period of 6 months or until the works are complete whichever
is the earlier.
