Blaenau Gwent Council has received a Welsh Government grant to support Warm Spaces in the borough.
The Warm Spaces grants will be administered by Blaenau Gwent Council and funding will be allocated to support existing or new Warm Spaces that focus on the delivery of:
- basic refreshments, snacks and a meal if possible
- opportunities to socialise
- advice and support on financial matters, health and well-being or digital inclusion.
- activities such as exercise, arts and cultural activities.
Small revenue grants of around £1500 will be made available to applicants that meet these criteria. Applicants will need to complete a short online application form (link below) to indicate how they plan to operate the warm space and demonstrate what they intend to spend the grant on, such as running costs, refreshments or equipment costs.
