Blaenau Gwent Council is today congratulating our A-Level students on their success and wishing them all the best for the future.
At Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone, 97.8% of students achieved A* - E grades; 80.5% achieved A* - C and 26 % achieved A* - A.
Councillor Sue Edmunds, the Council’s Executive Member for People & Education says:
“I am absolutely delighted to hear of the success of our A-Level students today, and I would like to congratulate them all on behalf of Blaenau Gwent Council. It is wonderful to see our post-16 pupils achieving their potential and going on to their chosen career paths. After a few tough years it’s great to see some normality returning to education and to examinations.
“We must also mention the hard work of all the education professionals involved and thank them for their dedication to our young people. Also, thanks to the students’ families who will have also been key to this success.”
