A once a week, request based collection service, will take place on a Tuesday for the whole Borough (subject to demand).
To take part in this free garden waste collection service, please visit My Council Services at www.blaenau-gwent.gov.uk or alternatively contact C2BG on 01495 311556 and register.
Residents can request this service from Monday 25th November 2019.
Once you have made your request for a single collection, please place your garden waste out before 7am for the date requested at your normal waste and recycling collection point.
You can fill your green hessian sack with:
Grass cuttings, Leaves, Hedge clippings, Flowers, Plants, Weeds.
Put your hessian sack at a visible point at your refuse collection point so that the crews can see the sack.
X Put out soil or earth
X Put out garden furniture or plant pots
X Put out knotweed or ragwort
The service will be subject to demand over the winter period.
The regular weekly collection service will resume in Spring 2020 and further updates will be provided in due course via the Council’s website, Contact Centre, and Social Media channels.
