Participatory Budgeting is a decision making tool, where community groups are able to apply for an amount of public funding towards a project or programme that increases individual/community participation, improves local well-being, or supports our communities to recover from the COVID19 pandemic, and the wider community decide where the money should be awarded.
We will be holding a Voting Event where any member of the Blaenau Gwent community is invited to attend to vote on who you think should be awarded funding from the £130k available:
Saturday 22nd October 2022, 1 - 5pm @ TBC
We need YOU to come along and vote for where this funding should be spent - so get involved and influence how our public budgets are spent in Blaenau Gwent!
On the day, you would be required to stay for the whole event to vote for each project.
