Winter Maintenance & Gritting

Our gritting team will react to weather warnings and will be dispatched when required throughout the night and daytime hours.

Waste & Recycling

There will be no refuse or recycling collections on Monday 11th December. We will update you when services restart and arrangements for collecting the items not collected today. Crews are being redeployed to work on snow clearance duties.

Civic Centre - Payments

The Cash Desk and Benefits Customer Services is operating a normal service from 8.30am to 5pm.

Any further updates will appear here either in times of severe weather or if there is a change to the operation of the service.

Online Payments
This online payment facility allows you to pay your Council Tax directly, and securely, to the Council:

All of your personal and card details are protected using 128 bit encryption, when transmitted over the Internet. Your card details are stored on a server behind a secure firewall. Only authorised personnel may access this information.

Housing Advice

Due to the conditions of the footpaths and roads outside the Housing Advice Centre, the centre is closed for walk-ins today.  The general public can still access the service via the phone (01495) 354600 or when visiting the Civic to use the free phone in reception.

Vulnerable People

Social Service Day and Community Options services will not operate Monday 11th December. Further details will be provided when services will re-open.

Social Services transport have not reported any disruption of services to us however, side roads may prove difficult in some areas.
