Shaun McCarthy of Brynmawr firm South Wales Limo has been granted the first ‘stretch limo’ private hire driver’s license in Blaenau Gwent - and his hire car is the first stretch limo to be licensed.
Blaenau Gwent Council’s Licensing Team issued the licenses after the Council adopted a policy to bring the vehicles within the licensing regime for private hire vehicles.
Shaun McCarthy said:
“It was a rigorous process. I had to go through the same vetting as a taxi driver. But it was worth it. “
