To celebrate National Childcare Week (2–6 July), Blaenau Gwent Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership invited all local childcare providers to enter a competition to win resources to hold an open day.
Five lucky winners have been chosen and they are opening their doors to give the local community a glimpse of the fantastic work they do.
Registered childcare offers children and their families wonderful opportunities to maximise their potential. Children learn social skills, build their confidence and start to develop the initial building blocks that will give them a flying start in their academic learning. Parents are able to develop routines, meet with other parents, get expert advice on a range of issues from qualified childcare staff and have the freedom to work or train.
The free open days will be held at:

The providers would love to see their local communities supporting the event, having lots of fun and enjoying the fantastic opportunities for our children in Blaenau Gwent.
