Twinning / Youth Twinning
Blaenau Gwent Youth Twinning Association’s mission is to ensure that each year twelve young people in Blaenau Gwent have an opportunity to attend an International Youth Camp. Blaenau Gwent host the camp every five years.
The motto of the Association is “No World Without Friendship”
This year’s camp is to Remanzacco in Italy, and twelve young people, aged 13 to 17 years of age have been invited to attend the camp from the 4th to the 12th August, 2007.
The International Youth Camp will be made up of young people from Remanzacco in Italy, Blaenau Gwent in South Wales, Oberhausen-Rheinhausen in Germany (the Borough’s twin town), Pomaz in Hungary, and Rangersdorf in Austria.
