Please find below the housing application process for council housing in Blaenau Gwent.1. Telephone for a application form - contact the housing hotline on 354600: or
Download the application form from the related documents below; or
Pick up a form from Anvil Court, Civic Centre or any Library.
Complete and return it to: Anvil Court, Church Street, Abertillery.
2. Your application will be registered
3. You will be contacted in writing to arrange an appointment with a member of the Housing Division. During your appointment the details of your application will be discussed and you will be advised of the availability of housing in each estate area. Applications for housing will only be considered after this appointment
4. Providing your application is successful, it will be classified as 'live' and placed on the Housing waiting list
5.Based on assessment of your application, you will be contacted when housing becomes available
6. If there are any changes in the information supplied you should notify the department in writing
