The Blaenau Gwent Unitary Development Plan was adopted on 6th July 2006. The Unitary Development Plan sets out the Council's policies and proposals for the development and use of land, up until 2011 in line with legislative requirements and provides a framework for the regeneration of the area. The Plan replaces the Blaenau Gwent Local Plan and forms the basis for decisons on individual planning applications.
