These sites are open to residents every day except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Opening hours are extended in the summer months.

Recycling facilities for green waste, glass, cans, textiles, paper/cardboard, oil, CFCs, scrap metal and car batteries are provided at household recycling centres. In addition recycling banks are distributed throughout the borough for the collection of glass, cans and textiles. See below for table.
