If you work as a door supervisor or employ door supervisors, you need a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
The SIA is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. The SIA was established in 2003 under the terms of the Security Industry Act 2001.
In accordance with the Act, it is a criminal offence to work as a door supervisor or employ door supervisors without a licence.
