Abertillery & District Museum

The Abertillery and District Museum has a wide ranging collection from prehistoric era to present day. Recent refurbishment sends you on a journey through time with a chronological arrangement of exhibits In addition they have specialist exhibits on coal and iron industries. Visitors can see an Iron Age axe head, a pistol possibly used by Chartists and Arthur Scargill’s baseball cap! Top it all off with some refreshments in a real working Italian café – one of their finest exhibits.
