The disabled parking blue badge scheme provides a national range of parking concessions to help those who have a permanent and substantial disability, travel independently as either a driver or passenger, by allowing them to park close to their destination
Who can have a blue badge?
Anyone over the age of two who has a permanent and substantial disability which affects their mobility can apply for a blue badge.
The Welsh Government has produced a leaflet called How Do I get a Blue Badge? A Guide for Applicants in Wales which explains who would be entitled to a badge and an online Blue Badge eligibility checker.
