The new station at Rogerstone is situated on the site of former rail sidings which once served Rogerstone Power Station (now being redeveloped for housing).

The station has one platform for both northbound and southbound journeys.

The platform has a covered waiting area, which is accessed by a ramp and steps from the car park.

The car park is accessed from the road leading to the Westbury housing development and has separate entrance and exit points. It will initially have 64 spaces (including 4 for disabled use). However, this could be increased to 77 in the future if necessary. A pick up/set down lay-by for vehicles is provided adjacent to the platform. Footways link the station to existing facilities adjacent to existing roads. A cycle compound is provided close to the lay-by.
