SEE THE PLANS FOR EBBW VALE RAILWAY STATION

BREWSTERS CAR PARK, VICTORIA BUSINESS PARK, EBBW VALE

12.00 – 19.30, 2nd and 3rd March

The plans for Ebbw Vale’s new railway station will be exhibited to the public on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd March, at Brewsters Car Park, Victoria Business Park, Ebbw Vale.

Plans for the station will be on display for the public to view and comment on, prior to the submission of a planning application.

Staff will be on hand to explain the design and answer any questions.

The station will be part of the Ebbw Valley Railway Project, which is being jointly developed by Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly County Borough Councils, in conjunction with the Welsh Assembly Government, Network Rail, Newport City Council, the Strategic Rail Authority and Arriva Trains Wales.

Councillor Dennis Owens, Executive Member for Regeneration, said: “I would urge all interested residents to come along and see the plans for themselves.

“All comments from the public are valued, and this is an ideal opportunity to participate in the development of what will be a tremendous asset to the area.”
