Councillor Jen Morgan, J.P. Mayor of the County Borough was inaugurated on Thursday, 22nd June, 2008. She is married to Geoff, who is her Consort, Jen has three children and two grandchildren.
She is honoured to be representing Blaenau Gwent for the forthcoming year, she will endeavour to carry out the role of Office of Mayor to the best of her ability.
Jen is hoping her being Mayor will raise the profile of encouraging females into the political arena.
