Animal Licences

The Environmental Health Section issues licences for the following animal establishments:-      

• Boarding Establishments   -  Kennels and Catteries
• Breeding Establishments   -  Dogs
• Riding Establishments       -  Equines
• Pet Shops
• Zoos
• Dangerous Wild Animals

For further information and to make an application please contact the Environmental Health Section.  The relevant application forms are available to download via the link on the right of this page.

The appropriate fee should be enclosed with the returned form. The inspection of some proposed establishments will involve the services of a veterinary surgeon that will incur the applicant an additional fee.

All establishments will be expected to conform to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Model Standards.  These can be obtained via the link opposite.
