The Council recognises that dog fouling is a problem in Blaenau Gwent. We are installing dog bins throughout the Borough, and have a rapid response unit for cleansing. Irresponsible owners who allow their dogs to foul public land face being issued with a fixed penalty notice or prosecution.
Cleaning up after your dog
If you own a dog, please be responsible and always carry a poop scoop or suitable bag. This can then be deposited in a suitable bin or at home.
