Council Budgets

The Council sets a budget for each financial year based on the amount it has to spend in order to provide services to the public. Income for these services comes largely from the Welsh Assembly Government in the form of a Revenue Support Grant, Non-Domestic Rates and Specific Service Grants. The balance of funding is drawn from reserves held by the Authority, service charges and Council Tax.
