The Youth Information Service provides confidential and impartial up to date information for all young people aged between 11 and 25 in the borough of Blaenau Gwent.
The information is gathered from all areas, from all services, agencies and organisations that work with young people.
This includes: Health & Wellbeing, Employment, Education & Training opportunities, Sports, Social and Recreational activities and much more.
The YIS also actively promotes the 10 Entitlements.
The service is contactable via a free phone number and e-mail service. It also has 24-hour answer phone service so all out of hours enquiries can be picked up.
It also has now joined with the Children's Information Service to provide a one-stop shop for all your information needs.
This newly formed service called the "Family Information Service" holds details on services, agencies and organisations for all 0 - 25 year olds.
