Adventure Activities

The Park offers a wide range of instructor led activities, which have been accredited by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. Courses can be arranged to suit the needs of any group, family adventure breaks also available, the activities include:

- Hill Walking  
- Climbing / Abseiling
- Caving
- Orienteering
- Gorge walking
- Mountain Biking
- Kayaking
- Archery
- Team Building activities

       

Activity day (any of the above activities) per person -  £34.25 based on 6 people attending the course. Includes lunch, all equipment and transport from the Park.

Family Activity break - £500 based on 4 people
This break includes 5 days of adventure activities of your choice or a programme organised by ourselves. Full board bunkhouse style accommodation, all equipment and transport from the park is included in the price. This course is aimed at families or a group of 4 people who wish to experience an action packed adventure activity break.

1 day team building - £34.25 per person based on 10 people attending the course.
2 day team building - £57.10 per person based on 10 people attending the course.
Both team-building courses include lunch, all equipment and transport from the Park.

Mountain Biking weekend - £150.00 per person based on 4 people attending the course. Includes full board bunkhouse accommodation, all equipment and transport from The Park.  3-day course suitable for all levels of rider, rides will take place in the Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains areas.

Introduction to Navigation - £130 per person based on 4 people attending the course. Includes full board bunkhouse accommodation, all equipment and transport from the Park. 2- day course suitable for people who want to learn to map read correctly and work towards the Bronze, Silver & Gold National Navigational Award Scheme.

Learn to Kayak/Canoe - £130 per person based on 4 people attending the course. Includes full board bunkhouse accommodation, all equipment and transport from the Park. 3-day course aimed at novice paddles based on sheltered water.

Introduction to moving water Kayak/Canoe – A follow on course from learn to kayak £150 per person based on 4 people attending the course. Includes full board accommodation, all equipment and transport from the Park. Aimed at paddlers that are proficient on sheltered waters and want to progress their paddling, river trips will include parts of the Usk Wye and Taff.

Introduction to white water Kayak/Canoe – A follow on course from moving water £150 per person based on 4 people attending the course. Includes full board accommodation, all equipment and transport from the Park. Aimed at Intermediate paddlers who want to progress to grade 2-3 water.

Smaller groups can be accommodated.
