Blaenau Gwent Housing Services

Housing Services has two main functions, Landlord and Strategic. The landlord role effectively manages the Authority’s housing stock which includes providing an efficient, cost effective repairs service to its tenants and delivering the Welsh Housing Quality Standard by 2012 . 

The strategic function leads in the development of the housing strategy for Blaenau Gwent which meets the needs and demands of its residents and potential residents ensuring that housing need and demand is satisfied e.g. delivering affordable housing opportunities within the locality.
