Home recycling

Recycling is simple

Collect and sort all your plastic bottles, glass bottles and jars, cans, paper and textiles, and put them out for the Tidy Trev kerbside recycling service. Or you can take the to one of the Borough’s Bring Sites.

There are other ways our household waste can be reduced:
Avoid over packaged goods
When shopping reuse your plastic bags or buy the ‘bags for life’ at your supermarkets.
Buy reusable products such as rechargeable batteries

Household waste can be reused and recycled by:
Composting kitchen and garden waste (the Council provide subsidised compost bins)
Composting your green waste (the Council will collect your garden waste free of charge)
Buying returnable/refillable bottles
Giving items to charity shops
Repairing broken items
Buying recycled products, such as paper and tissues
