The Authority will investigate complaints about nuisance being caused by construction activities.  If you have a complaint or a query about a construction site please contact us using the information below.

For large scale construction sites, such as major housing developemnts or the development on the former Steelworks site in Ebbw Vale, there will usually be controls over the development in place prior to it commencing.  The activities on site, including working hours and specific methods to control noise, dust etc, will be controlled either using planning conditions or using powers contained within the Control of Pollution Act 1974.
