Pest Control
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council offers a free pest control service to domestic properties within the borough. We will also treat small commercial premises if there is likely to be a link with domestic properties, a small shop in a row of houses being a classic example.
We will currently treat for Rats, Mice, Cockroaches, Bed bugs and Fleas. If you have problems with any other pest then we would advise that you either contact a private pest control contactor or purchase a control product from a local supplier.
Performace Targets
As part of our service to you we aim to meet the following targets when dealing with your request for a pest control office to visit.
Pests within premises - within one working day
Pest within curtilage/garden - within three working days
Pest on all other land - within five working days
All insect pests - within five working days.
