Welcome to Blaenau Gwent Children’s Information Service.

Blaenau Gwent Children’s Information Service provides quality, free, confidential and impartial information and guidance on the full range of Early Years and Childcare Services available in the local borough of Blaenau Gwent.

We offer advice on where childcare providers are, choosing the right provision for you, how to pay for childcare and much more.

We can also provide impartial advice on training for a career in childcare, setting up as a provider and how to access grants.

Blaenau Gwent Children’s Information Serviceis based at The Heart of the Valleys Children's Centre,Old Blaina Infant School, High Street Blaina Blaenau Gwent NP13 3BN  

We are available from Monday - Thursday 9.00a.m. - 5.00p.m. and Friday 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.

An Answer phone facility is available for an out of hour service, if you leave your name and number, someone will get back to you.
