Pollution Control - Penalty Notice

Various pieces of legislation give this Authority powers to issue fixed penalty tickets.  Most people are aware of the existence of fixed penalty tickets for littering or not cleaning up after a dog has fouled.

However, new legislation will soon be introduced in Wales.  This legislation will give the Authority more wide ranging powers to issue fixed penalty tickets for environmental offences. 

Currently in Wales the fixed penalty for dog fouling and littering offences is £75.00.

We will provide more information on the offences for which an opportunity to pay a fixed penalty, as soon as the legislation is enacted.
