Trading Standards provide advice and support to local businesses and we actively support the `Home Authority Principle`.

We discuss the impact of current legislation on businesses and provide them with the opportunity to keep abreast of issues relating to consumer protection.  Local traders are also encouraged to express their views on the quality of service we provide.
