The Business Services Team is dedicated to helping businesses start, grow and develop within Blaenau Gwent.  The team offers guidance and support in relation to sites and premises, financial assistance and general business issues.

Business Units & Industrial Property Register

The Council manages its own property portfolio, which incorporates industrial units ranging in size from nursery units of 100 sq ft to the larger high specification units of 28,000 sq ft.  Members of Business Services are happy to discuss rental costs, licence/lease agreements, arrange viewings for potential clients and help speed up the process of enabling companies and new business start ups to begin production in their new units.  Business Services produces an Industrial Property Register, which details all available industrial and office accommodation within the local area.

Business Eye is a free, impartial information service for Wales, created to find the answers to your business questions.
Whether you are an established company, a new idea, a sole trader or an employer of hundreds, Business Eye is here to help and can put you in contact with support from the public, private or voluntary sectors.

The Blaenau Gwent Voice of Industry Business Forum

The Voice of Industry is a local business forum that was established on 1st March 2001.  It is the representative body for manufacturing and services to manufacturing businesses in the County Borough of Blaenau Gwent.  The Voice of Industry Business Forum is a key vehicle for stimulating a positive business climate in Blaenau Gwent, by providing opportunities for businesses to network and the chance to see presentations on various business topics and economic development issues.

The forum meets quarterly, and a keynote speech is given at each meeting. The events are usually scheduled to start with a full English breakfast being served from 7.15 a.m.  The meeting then begins at 8.00 a.m. and normally finishes no later than 9.30 a.m.

ViTCC

Located at Tredegar Business Park, in Blaenau Gwent, the ViTCC the stands for the Valleys Information Technology and Communications Centre provides a high quality, modern resource for businesses and other users, in an easy to reach location, close to the A465.  Features of this 'state of the art’, professional facility include:
