If you’re a local artist or craftsperson, the Blaenau Gwent Arts Development Team wants to hear from you!
The Arts Development Team are putting together an Arts Database and want to hear from people of all ages and abilities, from fine artists to craft artists and ceramics to mural artists. Whether you’re a professional artist or you just do it for fun, you could make an important contribution to art in the local area.
Once the database has been established, artists or volunteers can be contacted to assist with art workshops and get involved with various community art projects in their fields.
If the response from local artists is high, the Arts Development Team will also look into developing an arts forum, offering artists the chance of meeting up twice a year to discuss art projects, ideas and community projects.
