If your little one would like to be the next Ryan Giggs or Craig Bellemy then they can join the new Mini Kickers Sessions to help improve their football skills.
The Football Association of Wales Trust in partnership with Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council will be providing football sessions at different venues around the County Borough for ten weeks from early September.
The Mini Kicker Sessions will provide a friendly environment for boys and girls aged between five and seven years old, to learn new and improve their football skills. During the sessions, qualified football coaches will be teaching skills including dribbling, penalty taking and tackling.
The Mini Kicker Football Sessions will be held at:
Abertillery Sports Centre – Monday 4th September 2006, 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Nantyglo Sports Centre – Tuesday 5th September 2006, 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Tredegar Sports Centre – Wednesday 6th September 2006, 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Ebbw Vale Sports Centre – Thursday 7th September 2006, 4:30pm – 5:15pm
Glyncoed Comprehensive School – Saturday 9th September 2006, 10:00am – 11:00am
Anyone wanting to take part is advised to book the places for the sessions early, as there are limited places available. The ten-week course will cost £17.75 per child.
