Tredegar is a friendly and welcoming town that still maintains a strong character stemming from its historical past.
Tredegar Easter Family Fun Day
The Council in partnership with the Business Forum enjoyed a sun and fun-packed event yesterday.
In Tredegar, the local community were out in force to support the Annual Easter Event. The event was packed with a range of fun, free activities for children and young people to try their hand at. With everything from circus skills, willow weaving and face painting to football shoot, brick laying and balloon modelling.
The event was attended by over 200 children and young people who appeared to be enjoying every minute of it – getting stuck in with the activities. The local businesses also commented on how nice the atmosphere had been in the town throughout the day and look forward to similar events in the future.
• There was also a challenging Easter hunt – the first three correct entries drawn were: Erin, 5; Tyler, 8 and Millie 2, each winning an Easter themed gift.
Events
The town has hosted an array of events that have included everything from the 150th Birthday Celebrations of the town clock, to craft and continental markets to Christmas and Easter Extravaganza.
