Mayor Presents Camtronics Employees with Certificates

The Mayor of Blaenau Gwent attended a presentation event with Simon York owner of Camtronics and Jeff Childs Business Resource Centre Manager at the ViTCC (Valleys Information Technology Communications Centre) to award 9 Camtronics employees with 9 full frameworks which included the Performing Manufacturing Operations NVQ (level 2) as well as the associated Key Skills in Communications and Application of Number.

 

The learners have put in a lot of hard work over the last 12 months to achieve these qualifications, some of it in their own time. The company has been very supportive also, allowing on site assessments and the review process. We've had a lot of help in particular from Denise the office manager and the supervisor Linda.
