People who carelessly discard litter in a public open space are committing a criminal offence. Litter includes wrappers, cans, bottles, packaging, food, cigarette ends, chewing gum. Any person discarding litter could face paying a fixed penalty notice of £75.A lot of work is being undertaken by Blaenau Gwent Council on keeping Blaenau Gwent Clean, but we can’t do it without the help of the people who live and work here.
