A new visitor attraction still under restoration in Blaenau Gwent has featured in Wales Tourism Week.
The General Offices – part of the £500 million regeneration project at The Works: Ebbw Vale – is being transformed into a state-of-the art family history and genealogy visitor centre.
Guests on a Wales Tourism Week tour of the century old historic building heard how the work includes a brand new wing to house the Gwent Record Office – home of one of the largest archives in Wales.
Visitors will have a vast collection of historical information at their fingertips – making researching their family history exciting and easy.
