Blaenau Gwent recycling and waste collections on the same day

Recycling in Blaenau Gwent is getting easier.
From Monday, 6 July 2009, the Council is introducing same day recycling and waste collections for householders.
Glass, cans, tins, foil and plastic bottles are to be put in a blue plastic sack. No need to separate them. All paper and cardboard goes into a clear plastic sack. These are provided by the Council.
Food waste should be put out in the green kitchen waste bins already provided.
All this will now be picked up on the same day as your usual refuse collection.
