Young people in Blaenau Gwent can swim for free at three Council sports centre pools when they are open over the Christmas holidays.
Use of the pools at Ebbw Vale, Nantyglo and Abertillery sports centres will be free to all children aged 16 and under between Saturday 20 December 2008 and Sunday 4 January 2009.
By taking advantage of the holiday offer, children can enjoy themselves throughout the festive period while keeping fit and healthy.
As well as free swimming for young people aged16 and under, people who are 60 years of age and over can also swim free at all Blaenau Gwent sports centres during dedicated public, female and adult only sessions over the holiday.
